TOPIC: Your Own Personal Need
SCRIPTURE:Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: 24 And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.” – Psalm 139:23-24
OBSERVATION: When we follow God it is easy to get busy looking out and reaching out for the needs of friends and neighbors. Even in our 40 days we can get so wrapped up looking out that we never look in or ask our Father to tend to us. Today, reflect on your own personal need and speak to your Father about your need for Him.
PRAYER: Father, thank you for the gift of life and the assurance that you want good things for me. I invite you into my heart, my life, my struggles, and fear. I look to you alone for fulfillment. Shine brightly and bring your peace that I may overflow with your joy!
