DAY 23: Thursday, October 23
TOPIC: Safety in Schools
SCRIPTURE: “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand”. – Isaiah 41:10
OBSERVATION: God is portrayed as a constant keeper that is not going to ever be drowsy, and he will not slumber or sleep. This is an across-the-board promise. He protects us wherever we are. As the song goes: “Jesus loves the little children….”. He is their protector at school. From the youngest to the oldest his eyes are on them. What a comforting thought!
PRAYER: Dear Lord, thank you for being our great Protector. I pray a blessing over the students in our schools. Both here locally and across our great nation. Place a hedge of protection around each child. I pray that your safety will cover them like a warm blanket, not only at school but wherever they may go in the days to come. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
