DAY 26: Sunday, October 26
TOPIC: Praise of Answered Prayer
SCRIPTURE: Psalm 66:19-20 But truly God has listened; He has attended to the voice of my prayer. Blessed be God, because he has not rejected my prayer or removed his steadfast love from me!
OBSERVATION: In this verse, the writer confidently proclaims that God pays attention to our prayers and listens to them. It’s like a strong reassurance that our heavenly Father is always there, ready to hear and respond to our needs and requests. And it also reminds us that we give glory to God for the prayers He has answered, no matter the outcome.
PRAYER: Heavenly Father, we come to you with hearts overflowing with gratitude. We are thankful for your faithfulness, hearing us when we cry out, responding with love, wisdom and provision. We praise you for answered prayers, great and small. For doors opened and those closed. For times of peace and healing. For strength in weakness, and comfort in sorrow.
Thank you for wisdom that we cannot understand, and trust that You always know what is best for us all. Help us to never take these blessings for granted, but be thankful for them every day. And may our lives be a testimony to Your love and goodness, and a reflection of our thankfulness. In Jesus name we humbly pray. Amen
