DAY 29: Wednesday, October 29
TOPIC: Teachers, Administrators, and Other School Employees
SCRIPTURE: Galatians 5:22-23 NLT “But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things!”
OBSERVATION: When we are fully submitted to Jesus and are spending time with Jesus daily, He produces fruit inside of us that ministers to the people around us. The fruit isn’t something that comes out of our own works or strength, but is produced by the Spirit of God. In thinking about the pressures our children and teachers face, what they need most is the power of God working in and through their lives.
PRAYER: Lord, I pray for our teachers, administrators, and school employees. I thank you for the ministry they provide to our community in raising up generations who can learn, think, and succeed. I ask that if there are any of them who do not know the Lord, they would have an encounter with the living God. I ask for transformed lives who abide in the vine and produce much fruit. Let our schools abound in love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.
