DAY 10: Friday, October 10
TOPIC: Community Unity and Racial Healing
SCRIPTURE: “There is no longer Jew or Gentile, slave or free, male and female. For you are all one in Christ Jesus.” Galatians 3:28 NLT
OBSERVATION: This is a simple command to understand but difficult to live out in daily life. As a disciple of Jesus we will have enemies. It is what we do when persecuted that will make us stand out. All of these are actions: do good, bless, pray. These actions can transform the life of our enemy.
PRAYER: Father, we boldly ask in the name of Jesus that you protect our brothers and sisters who are persecuted for Your name. Let them feel Your peace wash over them as they stand for You. Give them wisdom to know how they can do good to those who are against them. Show them ways they can bless those who cast stones. Speak the words to their hearts so they can pray for the salvation of those who are lost and hurting without You. Lord, we ask that you protect them from harm and that in all things Your glory, power, and love is represented to its fullest. Amen.
