Day 4: Tues. October 4

“They brought unto Him also infants, that He would touch them: but when His disciples saw it, they rebuked them. But Jesus called them unto Him, & said, “Suffer the little children to come unto Me, and forbid them not: for of such is the Kingdom of God. Verily, I say unto you, whosoever shall not receive the Kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein.” Luke 18:16-17

OBSERVATION: He is the Man’s Christ and the Woman’s Christ, but that is not all. If I stopped there it would not be complete. He is the baby’s Savior. He is the child’s Christ, He is the cradle Christ. There are some that say, “they are so little”, yes, but He is the God of the little things. He painted the rainbow, but He kissed the daisy into being too. He put the wings on the Archangel, but He feathered the sparrow. The mighty ocean, but He makes that out of the same material that He makes the dewdrop. He is the God of little things. Don’t despise the children. Jesus has not forgotten them.

PRAYER: Father, help us to bring our children to you. Hold us accountable as their parents, to raise our children in the ‘nurture and admonition’ of the Lord. Help us to be the parents that you have called us to be to be Holy and to raise our children to be Holy as You are Holy. In Christ’s Name, Amen.
