Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. OBSERVATION: In a time that our world is filled with so much hate and divide, our children are looking to us to know how to respond.
PRAYER: Father, we know that little eyes are always watching to see how we treat others. We pray that you guide us in teaching our children how to love and respect all people. We ask that you guide us in teaching our children to forgive those who have treated them poorly. We ask that you guide us in teaching our children how to fight hate with love. We ask that you guide us in raising them up in a way that is pleasing to you. Amen
