DAY 40: Local, Specific Concerns
And He answered, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself.” -Jesus (Luke 10:27 ESV)
CONSIDER: As we end our 40 Days of Prayer, let us continue to pray every day for our community, our state, and our nation. Although we have different opinions, so much more can be accomplished when we are unified looking to God for guidance. Let us go forward from these 40 days and remember to pray for God to guide us to do His will in this community with unconditional love for each other.
PRAY: Father, we thank You that we live in a nation where people can openly unite in prayer to You. We ask You to bless our community with unity and love while we work together to improve the quality of life for everyone here. Please help us always put You and Your ways first in our lives. In Jesus’ name, Amen
