DAY 15: Thursday, October 15
TOPIC: Local Businesses and Industries
SCRIPTURE: “Also, seek the peace and prosperity of the city to which I have carried you into exile. Pray to the Lord for it, because if it prospers, you too will prosper.” — Jeremiah 29:7
OBSERVATION: Jeremiah’s message reminds us that the prosperity of our community is connected to the success of its businesses and industries. They are more than places of employment—they are the foundation of a healthy community. When local businesses succeed, families have opportunities, our tax base grows, community services are strengthened, and our city becomes a better place to live, work, and raise a family.
PRAYER: Father, we lift up our community and the businesses and industries that sustain it. Grant our business leader’s wisdom, integrity, and resilience in every challenge. Bless their efforts with opportunity, growth, and success as they make decisions that affect not only their companies but the families and community around them.
Lord, help us seek the peace and prosperity of our community, remembering that when our city prospers, we all benefit. May our community be known for cooperation, opportunity, hard work, and hope. Amen
