TOPIC: Reverence for Life
SCRIPTURE: “Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor.” Rom. 12:10 (ESV)
OBSERVATION: Negativity, criticism, and comparison are thieves of joy and way too prevalent in our society. They all three de-value the unique and special people we are individually created and gifted to be.
PRAYER: In the name of the Lion of the tribe of Judah and the Lamb of God we thank you for our Divine Gift of Life. May we ALWAYS value and respect it, regardless of our individual situation.
May we intentionally STOP and observe everything your immense power has created-from the stars across the heavens down to the blades of grass we walk on. Our very own bodies, life, and communities are extremely special gifts from your power, and every human is created to morally honor you. May we never lose focus of how important that job is!
Help us to view others higher than we value our own selves and our own lives…from the unborn in the womb to the teenager to the middle aged to the elderly. ALL are created in your image and therefore worthy to be loved and encouraged!!
