DAY 24: Saturday, October 24
TOPIC: Firefighters, Police Officers, and Paramedics
SCRIPTURE: Isaiah 6:8 And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” Then I said, “Here I am! Send me.
OBSERVATION: First responders often run in when everyone else is running out. They step into moments of crisis, uncertainty, and danger, remaining calm when everything around them feels out of control. They bring order to confusion, comfort to the hurting, and hope to the helpless. In life’s most chaotic moments, they are called to bring peace to the chaos.
PRAYER: Almighty God, we lift up all first responders who answer the call to serve. Give them courage, wisdom, and strength. Protect them in times of danger, guide their decisions, and bring peace in the midst of chaos. Renew them when they are weary and comfort them when their hearts are heavy. Bless their families and bring them safely home after every shift. May Your presence be with them wherever duty calls. Amen.
