DAY 23: Friday, October 23
TOPIC: Safety in Schools
SCRIPTURE: Matthew 18:6 “If anyone causes one of these little ones—those who believe in me—to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.
OBSERVATION: There was a time when our biggest fear for our school children was whether they were looking both ways before crossing the street. Unfortunately, today we have seen the horrific consequences as the result of individuals who have no value for precious lives. However, the social, political, and cultural weapons of the evil one is also slowly destroying the values of our youth. What shall we do? PRAY. Do anything to help a teacher, a neighbor, or someone we may not know.
PRAYER: Dear God, today we pray that you will gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings.
