DAY 34: Tuesday, November 3
TOPIC: Local Work Force/Jobs
SCRIPTURE: “May the favor of the Lord our God rest on us; establish the work of our hands for us—yes, establish the work of our hands.” — Psalm 90:17
OBSERVATION: Our workforce is one of our community’s greatest strengths. Good jobs provide stability, dignity, opportunity, and hope for individuals and families.
PRAYER: Heavenly Father, we pray for workers and job seekers in our community. Give them opportunity, purpose, and skills to succeed. Bless those seeking employment with meaningful work.
We pray for the El Dorado-Union County Chamber of Commerce as it works to recruit new businesses, expand industries, and create opportunities. Give its leaders wisdom and perseverance as they serve the economy.
We give You thanks for South Arkansas College and its commitment to developing a skilled workforce through programs that meet the needs of our businesses. Bless its faculty, staff, and students as they prepare tomorrow’s workforce.
Lord, help our community work together to create meaningful jobs, strengthen businesses, and provide opportunities for families to prosper. Establish the work of our hands and guide us toward a more prosperous South Arkansas. Amen.
Thank you for joining in prayer with your neighbors across El Dorado and Union County, Arkansas for the 2026 40 Days of Prayer. Please continue to pray for blessings and unity for our community.
We are so grateful for your partnership in God’s Kingdom work. May you and yours be blessed.
